Sunday, April 20, 2008. So we wanted to see for ourselves if the trail was still blocked going into Honokane Nui. Here is the trail and where it is blocked. There are a couple of paths that hunters and hikers have made that go down into the valley but these are not safe to say the least. Most of them would be passable if you added some rope.
